You’ll notice the pin is set over a field. That’s because we met at our sons’ soccer game. We were both divorced and sat (or stood) on the sidelines every week. It was natural that we just started talking with each other. It was kind of sweet too, because our sons saw us too, and in a way they were part of our courtship. It was special too because we were there together in all sorts of weather, for the ups and downs on the field, cheering together. It was a fun way to get to know someone. Our sons eventually slept under the same roof and we go to other games now as a family.
