Alex and Ola

2004

In 2004, Alex Nelke and Ola Forsmark met on the island of Ko Phi Phi, Thailand, where they shared a magical evening of dancing, beachside drinking, and nighttime swimming. Despite their deep connection, they parted ways the next day without exchanging contact information. Fate intervened when Alex missed her ferry, leading to another encounter and a promise to stay in touch. For months, they communicated regularly via email, but when Alex returned to London and Ola visited, their in-person reunion didn’t spark the same magic. They drifted apart, each entering long-term relationships and moving on with their lives. Fast forward to 2020, amid the first Covid-19 lockdown, Alex noticed it was Ola’s birthday on Facebook and impulsively sent him a message. This simple gesture reignited their old connection, and they quickly began talking like no time had passed. Both were single and ready to reconnect. Within weeks, they met in Berlin, and their bond was as strong as ever. Realizing they still had feelings for each other, they decided to seize the moment. Over the summer of 2020, they visited each other frequently, and by the end of the year, Alex moved to Sweden to start a new life with Ola.
